We congregate

There are times we congregate,
like clouds,
to make thunder and rain.
A few hours or days
is all it takes.
After that things are parched again.

Meghadutam. That's what this reminded me of. I leave you with
my favorite lines from the poem
"... wander O Cloud, in all the lands you choose,
gathering greater glory in the rains;
may you never be parted from the lightning
even for an instant."

may you never be parted from the lightning even for an instant? - now why would he say that?

Read it, no. These are the concluding lines of the poem.
